Aviatrix Aerogram

I wanted to take the time to share with you an ezine that I am really excited about, the Aviatrix Aerogram.  The Aerogram is the brainchild of a group of female aviators wanting to focus on the connections lady pilots can make with one another; shifting away from the typical organization that can focus too much on hierarchy and rule-making.

The Aviatrix Aerogram is delivered monthly into the subscriber's inbox in .pdf form and offers a wide variety of articles from contributing members.  It is a ezine written for the everyday aviator, by the everyday aviator focusing on:
  • Sharing stories and experiences as women pilots
  • Sharing knowledge on subject matter of interest
  • Provide a venue on aviation issues
  • Sharing humor and fun
  • Celebrating achievements of women pilots
  • Personal and team development
I was more than delighted to contribute and be highlighted in this month's section of Bravo for Blogs.  I admit that I wasn't a very good worker today, the second this ezine came to my inbox I devoured it.  I know the Aerogram is full of potential and will provide women with a connection to aviation like they have not had before.  So please email me if you are interested in getting on the mailing list and get ready to devour see this wonderful ezine for yourself!

  2. How does this work for ya? :)

"Bitten with the flying bug at an early age and first taking flight at 16, Victoria Neuville has had many challenges throughout her piloting career. In fact, flying is not yet her career; she still pushes on nine years, seven instructors, three airports and many depleted loans later! While financial issues kept her grounded for years, she slowly pushed on to seek her dream. Most recently a detached retina stopped her path and after multiple surgeries it was unclear if she would be able to receive a medical again. Throughout these ups and downs Victoria has been blogging her experiences, her advice and her lessons learned along the way. Now, with a second class medical and starting life in a new city working in aviation insurance, Victoria continues on her dream and shares her blog with others, hoping to connect with other pilots."

  5. I was actually thinking of contacting you about that, Rod! Right now it's starting out small just going through email. We believe some sort of website should be in our future. For now, it seems like the best way is just word of mouth-letting female aviators know about it. I'm sure guys would enjoy it too, though!

  6. Actually maybe we should do an article on MyTransponder! You are doing great things over there and it would be another great way for all of these ladies to connect.
